"Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality." Romans 12:10-13 (NKJV)
Jesus said for us to love one another as He loved us. WOW, that's a lot of love!
At The Bridge Church, we make it our goal to love others as He first loved us. We understand that without the love of Christ and the grace of God, we wouldn't be here today.
We want to communicate that same understanding to all who enter our lives, both in the community and within the church. We want our visitors to know that they are welcome no matter who they are, how they dress, what mistakes they've made, where they're from, or where they've been. There is no judgment here.
Our purpose is to share the love of Jesus Christ through a friendly face, a warm smile, and a sincere heart; praying always to be sensitive to the needs of others, knowing that sometimes the difference between comfort and heartache is as simple as a kind "hello."
Although the scripture above is for all followers of Christ, we believe it is important that we should use the gifts God has given us for work in the Kingdom. If you have a compassionate and merciful heart and you are looking for somewhere to serve, this may be the ministry for you. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
